Description And Management

Course

In the course, images are shown together with a speaker voice.

Sometimes texts are added to reinforce what the speaker says.

The user can repeat each page, in case of micro sleep. At the bottom of the screen there is a navigation bar that enables users to navigate within the course. If a user has to leave the course, and later returns, the program will resume to the last visited page. It is also possible to start again from the beginning.

Exercise

After a section in the course has been completed, the exercise part becomes enabled. The exercise consists of multiple choice questions about the subject. When the user has completed the exercise questions, the result will be shown on the screen.

Skill test

After all sections in the course and exercises have been completed a skill test can take place. The exam is based upon a random number of questions from the database.

There are some options which the administrator can set; among them are a time limit, number of questions, pass rate etc. Upon completion of the exam, the protocol is automatically sent as an eMail to the training department.

Since the skill test protocol is stored in a database, it can be printed anytime afterwards.

Course management

All courses are administrated by a special designed software called Scandlearn. The program is very easy to use and it takes just a few minutes to learn. This program manage users, categories, courses, questionnaires and reports. It also manage PDF-documents (™Adobe) and PowerPoint-documents (™ Microsoft).

It is all very easy to understand and it is self-explanatory.

Menus

The major part of Scandlearn is to add, change and update the menus and courses. The administrator construct menus and sub-menus. Under these menus all courses, questionnaires, skill tests, PDF’s and PowerPoints © are located. The administrator also decides how the category is related to the menus.

Reporting

Almost all our courses ends up with a skill test. To verify that a user has fully passed a course, the user has to pass this skill test. Once the user has answered the final question, the skill test is automatically transferred via email to the administrators email box or any assigned email address.

Categories

A register which contains categories keeps the relationship between the user and the menus. A user is connected to one or more category.

Users

Each user has a unique user-id and a password. As soon as a new user is added, the user is immediately ready for use.
