Q. I am interested in your training platform, how can I make an evaluation? ​

A. Ask for a username and password from us. Open your web browser and go to: http://www.scandlearn.net/?id=DEMO1 ​ ​

Q. I have the login data, when does my evaluation period expire? ​ ​

A. Normally 30 days, but can be extended. Contact us for an extension. ​ ​ ​

Q. Are thereany limitations in the registers? ​ ​

A. No, the number of records is unlimited. ​ ​

Q. Do you have any references? ​ ​

A. Yes we have a list of references. We will send a reference on request, due to respect for the integrity of our clients. ​ ​ ​

Q. Is Scandinavian eTraining Center a flight training school? ​ ​

A. No, our training courses and platform is a tool for your company to conduct training anytime, anywhere for your crew. ​ ​ ​

Q. How can I get the course approved by the CAA/authorities? ​ ​

A. Europe: DGR course is awarded approval by the CAA via your certified instructor. Your CAA can view the course at our demonstration site. ​Simply inform us and we will send you login data.

For other courses: approval is given by the appropriate officer at your company. ​ The text in Part-D Manual could look like this: “...the company conducts…training in classroom with instructor and/or CBT” Our courses are accepted by authorities in Asia, Africa, and Europe.

We have small as well as large operator (IOSA) using our course. Other countries: Check with your local CAA contact. ​ ​ ​ ​

Q. How are your courses constructed? ​ ​

A. Scandinavian eTraining Center courses consist of 1-10 sections. When conducting initial training, companies normally require users to take all sections. ​

For recurrent training any or all sections may be selected. After the final Skill Test, a test protocol is sent directly to the administrator for archiving.

The administrator can print test protocols and results at any time using the administrator program. ​ ​ ​

Q. Can I use my PowerPoint and PDF-file presentations immediately? ​ ​

A. Yes you can, but users have to log on after you have made the changes. Check that the size is not too large as this might cause slow loading.

If your presentation is large, attempt to replace or reduce full-colour images.

A normal presentation should not exceed 1 Mb. If you need to have large presentations, be sure to alert users that these may take time to load. ​ ​ ​ ​

Q. What kind of certificates or protocols do i receive? ​ ​ ​

A. You will receive both a certificate and a skill test protocol via email. The documents arrives to you in less than 120 minutes from the very time the user completes the skill test.

The certificate can be customized with your logo and signature.

Q. We do not receive any skill test eMail protocols ​​ ​

A. The skill tests are transferred each 120 minutes to the assigned email address. The email address is located at each skill test protocol node in the administration program. ​

Please check the following:

  1. Make sure that the email address is correctly spelled. If several email addresses is used separate them with a comma (,).
  2. Ask the IT-department to open traffic from the domain setc.nu.

It is very common that the IT-department has some kind of spam-filtering and the skill test protocol might score high on the spam ranking. 3.

If it still does not work, for test purpose change the email address to a verified address which does not has a spam filter.

It it still does not work contact us for further troubleshooting.

Q. How to print certificate from Scandlearn?

A. Login to the scandlearn platform as admin, click on tab Reports go to Type

of report and select Result Answer Protocols.

And then click on View selection, now you can ether print one certificate at a time or print all

the certificates.

How to open skill test when a user has done 10 tries?

  1. Login to your admin program.
  2. Click on the user Icon.
  3. Highlight user.
  4. At the top of the screen click on Progress bar.
  5. Scroll down until you find the respective skill test.
  6. Highlight skill test.
  7. Click on the reset button down to the right.

    You have no open up for 10 more tries.

Q. How to add a new user?

  1. Log in as Admin
  2. Go to Users
  3. Type in Name, Username and Password; don't forget that you need to link the new user to a category.
