Q. Can I use an ordinary modem to run the program? A. If you only wish to use the exercises and tests and not run the courses, a modem works, but it might be slow. You need a bandwidth of 0.5 Mb/s to run courses. Loading the images and sounds in the frequency the course presents them requires a lot of bandwidth.
Q. The program does not start?Check address: http://www.scandlearn.net/?id=###### The "#####" is your company ID (5-digit code) given you by your supervisor. The Scandlearn application is based on the Flash plug-in from Macromedia. The program normally loads this plug-in automatically but if not, go to: www.adobe.com for the latest free version. Below you will find 2 buttons. The first, (alt1) starts the program after entering your company ID. The second, (alt2) starts the program using another method. Try either of them to check how this works on your computer. If the program still does not launch, contact us.
Q. After the final Skill Test the results disappeared. A. That's correct. Once you pass the Skill Test your training department is updated on your progress and Skill Test.
Q. Does ScandLearn leave anything on my computer? A. Yes it does. Flash player is automatically loaded into your web browser (and is believed to be installed in over 90% of the world's web browsers).
