According to EU-OPS, flight crew have to complete training in basic area navigation as well as precision area navigation before they commence flying in area where such navigation equipment is required.

​

The object of this RNAV course is to give the students a good general knowledge of basic GPS/FMS including P-RNAV and RNP-RNAV.
