The TCAS/ACAS Course is implemented to show the candidate the value of the traffic avoidance technologies required on modern days commercial aircraft. Fundamentals, usage, system limitations as well as phraseology between pilots and ATC controllers are addressed.

Real traffic events are used as example of operation in the course Traffic avoidance training should also be carried forward into the simulator training.
